Trauma • Relationships • Identity • Life Transitions • Personal Growth
“I believe therapy can be a place where we become more deeply connected to ourselves—not by eliminating the difficult parts of our experience, but by developing a different relationship with them.”
I work primarily with adults navigating trauma, relationships, identity, life transitions and periods of personal growth or change. Many of the people I work with are trying to understand patterns that may once have helped them survive or adapt but no longer feel aligned with the lives or relationships they want to create.
“I believe meaningful change begins when we become curious about what is happening beneath the problem—and build relationships in which people can experience trust, respect, connection and the freedom to discover who they are capable of becoming.”
I work with children, adolescents and adults of all ages, individually and with their families. My practice includes families navigating oppositional and defiant behavior, ADHD and other neurodivergent profiles, school struggles and family conflict, as well as adults working through trauma, disrupted trust, difficult relationships and life transitions.
Children & Families • Anxiety • Life Transitions • Relationships • Emotional Regulation
“I believe therapy can be a place where people feel supported in understanding what they are experiencing, recognizing the strengths they already carry, and developing tools that help them feel more confident navigating their lives and relationships.”
I work with children, adults and families navigating anxiety, emotional challenges, relationship and family stress, life transitions and experiences that can leave people feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what to do next. My approach is warm, supportive and practical, with an emphasis on helping people recognize their existing strengths while developing new ways of understanding and responding to what they are experiencing.
“I believe people do best when they feel valued, supported and treated with dignity. My work is grounded in compassion, accountability and helping people recognize the strengths and resources they can draw on as they navigate difficult experiences and relationships.”
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families navigating trauma, relationship and family challenges, parenting concerns, life transitions and experiences that can leave people feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from one another. My approach is compassionate, direct and strengths-based, with an emphasis on creating a space where people feel respected while also being supported in exploring patterns, relationships and possibilities for change.
Adolescents • Trauma • Identity • Life Transitions • Youth & Family Relationships
“I believe therapy can be a space where people feel seen for the fullness of who they are—their identities, experiences, strengths, struggles and the communities that have shaped them.”
I work primarily with adolescents and young people navigating trauma, identity, relationships, life transitions and experiences that can leave them feeling overwhelmed, disconnected or unsure of themselves. My approach is warm, person-centered and collaborative, with an emphasis on creating a space where clients can show up authentically and feel respected for who they are.
“I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard and accepted. Therapy can be a place to understand the patterns that keep us feeling stuck, reconnect with who we are and begin creating meaningful change.”
I work primarily with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions and times when they may simply feel stuck or disconnected from themselves. My approach is warm, genuine and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when people feel accepted as they are and have room to explore their experiences with curiosity rather than judgment.

“I’ve spent much of my professional life working with young children and families, and that experience has deeply shaped the way I understand people. We begin learning about ourselves through relationships—how safe it is to have needs, how we communicate, how we respond when things feel overwhelming, and what we come to expect from ourselves and other people.”
I work with people exploring relationships, family life, identity, parenting, life transitions and the ways earlier experiences may continue to influence how they understand themselves and relate to others. I’m interested in what our reactions and patterns may be communicating—not as evidence that something is wrong with us, but as responses that developed within the context of our lives and relationships.
Welcome to the part where I attempt to convey my therapeutic essence to strangers on the internet whilst being mindful of not sounding like a robot. Not my strongest skill. So if you’ve made it this far—thank you and hello.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 17 years in human services and six years as an adult therapist. My past roles include supporting people in vulnerable moments—survivors of abuse, disaster victims, geriatric clients, and adults/teens with disabilities (24-hour caregiver and art teacher). I used creative problem-solving to provide safety, dignity, comfort, and connection, shaping my therapeutic approach.
“I believe therapy can be a space where we bring our whole selves—including the parts of ourselves we may have learned to hide, question or make smaller—and explore our experiences with curiosity, compassion and honesty.”
I work with people navigating trauma, relationships, identity, grief, shame and experiences of feeling different, misunderstood or disconnected from themselves. My approach is relational, strengths-based and client-led. I believe you are the expert on your own experience, and my role is not to tell you who you should become, but to create space for us to explore what you have lived through, what you are carrying and what feels meaningful to you.
Given the stress we carry each day, I believe one of our most powerful tools is learning how to support and strengthen our minds. Therapy can help us develop the skills to respond thoughtfully to daily responsibilities and unexpected challenges. Together, we can find anchors that help you understand your internal experience and navigate life with greater calm and confidence.
For nearly two decades, my work in human services, community outreach and mental health has centered on building relationships and supporting people in their communities. As a School Adjustment Counselor at a therapeutic high school, I helped students and families navigate mental health challenges and access learning. At SEEM Collaborative, I developed the curriculum and implemented a group therapy program. These experiences shape my work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults and families.

CARE THAT BEGINS WITH RELATIONSHIP
Therapy is deeply personal.
There is no single way therapy should look, because there is no single way people experience their lives, relationships or challenges.
Individual Therapy
One-on-one therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Individual therapy can provide space to explore emotions, experiences, relationships, patterns, identity, trauma, life transitions and whatever else feels important in your life.
Couples Therapy
Therapy for partners who want support understanding their relationship, navigating conflict or change, strengthening communication and connection, or exploring patterns that may be affecting the relationship.
Family Therapy
Therapy involving family members who want support navigating relationships, communication, transitions, conflict or other experiences affecting the family. The people involved may vary depending on the needs and goals of the family.
Group Therapy
Therapeutic groups bring people together around shared experiences, concerns or areas of growth. CFR offers groups at different times based on the interests and needs of our clients and communities.
A person’s insurance or ability to pay privately should not determine the quality of therapy available to them. CFR is committed to expanding equitable access to excellent, individualized care.
Your Therapy Should Feel Like the Right Fit
The relationship between client and therapist matters. We encourage clients to participate actively in choosing who they work with and shaping a therapeutic process that feels meaningful to them.
Supported Therapists Provide Better Care
Therapists need conditions that allow them to remain present, creative and connected to their work. Supporting clinicians with autonomy, community and meaningful support is part of how we provide excellent client care.
Healing Happens in Context
People don’t heal in isolation. Relationships, families, identities, communities and environments all shape our lives, and meaningful healing often involves strengthening the relationships, resources and experiences that support us beyond therapy.
HEALING BEYOND THE THERAPY ROOM
Therapeutic experiences can happen anywhere.
Therapy can be transformative, but some of the experiences that shape healing happen outside of a therapy session—in relationships, families, creative spaces, community, leadership experiences and moments of connection, reflection and growth.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin.
We offer telehealth throughout Massachusetts, with in-person therapy in Holyoke and Hadley depending on therapist availability. Therapy is available in English and Spanish.
